Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jean Pougny could be acquired at Christies in New York in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Graphic Century auction, the work L'Atelier changed hands for USD 126.00 (€ 115.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pougny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,354,727.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Pougny konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Graphic Century wechselte die Arbeit L'Atelier für USD 126,00 (€ 115,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pougny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.762.500,00 (€ 1.354.727,13).
