Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Nature morte au bol de fruits - circa 1943-1944 by Jean Pougny. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,936.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pougny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,354,727.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature morte au bol de fruits - circa 1943-1944 von Jean Pougny zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.936,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pougny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.762.500,00 (€ 1.354.727,13).
