Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Lutschenbach by Jean-Frédéric Schnyder was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2017. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,368.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Frédéric Schnyder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Sonnenuntergang am Zugersee“ (58), which sold at auction in December 2021 for EUR 56,250.00.
