Auction result well in line with expectations
The work `Bornes' by Jean-Claude Farhi was sold in the The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,672.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Claude Farhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit `Bornes' von Jean-Claude Farhi wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion The Gunter Sachs Collection Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.672,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
