Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Colonne - 1969 by Jean-Claude Farhi. The price achieved of EUR 2,860.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Claude Farhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colonne - 1969 von Jean-Claude Farhi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.860,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
