Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Soleil Rougesigned; Polymetachrylat. Executed Circa 1985. by Jean-Claude Farhi for EUR 8,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Art Contemporain at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jean-Claude Farhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Soleil Rougesigned; Polymetachrylat. Executed Circa 1985. von Jean-Claude Farhi für EUR 8.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Contemporain bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
