This artwork by Jean-Claude Farhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September 2017. In the Collection Alberto Pinto auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 22,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean-Claude Farhi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unique Dining Table sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Claude Farhi erzielte im September 2017 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Alberto Pinto wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean-Claude Farhi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
