Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Colonne by Jean-Claude Farhi. The price achieved of EUR 5,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Claude Farhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unique Dining Table in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,378.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colonne von Jean-Claude Farhi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Claude Farhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unique Dining Table im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.378,68).
