Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work A Celebration of Debris by Jason Middlebrook. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,960.00 (€ 1,485.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jason Middlebrook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lighting The Over And The Under in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Celebration of Debris von Jason Middlebrook zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.960,00 (€ 1.485,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jason Middlebrook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lighting The Over And The Under im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.712,13).
