Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jarl Ingvarsson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Den ruttna bananen" changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,464.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jarl Ingvarsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 19,541.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jarl Ingvarsson konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Den ruttna bananen" für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.464,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jarl Ingvarsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 19.541,41).
