Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jarl Ingvarsson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Epilog" changed hands for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,516.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jarl Ingvarsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 19,541.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jarl Ingvarsson konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Epilog" für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.516,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jarl Ingvarsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 19.541,41).
