In April 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Madonnan och Janet Frame" by Jarl Ingvarsson. The result of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,950.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jarl Ingvarsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 19,541.41).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Madonnan och Janet Frame" von Jarl Ingvarsson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.950,12) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jarl Ingvarsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 19.541,41).
