Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Öresjö" by Jarl Ingvarsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 32,000.00 (€ 3,097.66). Admittedly, works by Jarl Ingvarsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 185,000.00 (€ 19,541.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Öresjö" von Jarl Ingvarsson im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 32.000,00 (€ 3.097,66) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jarl Ingvarsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 185.000,00 (€ 19.541,41).
