The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,085.26), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Janet Fish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Bertolli Bottles in July last year with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 234,659.87).

Die Arbeit 7 Glasses, 13 Pears von Janet Fish kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.085,26) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Janet Fish erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Bertolli Bottles im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 234.659,87).
