Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Photographies - Collection Claude Berri, which included the work Nature morte, T289, 1994 by Jan Groover. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Groover - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life Studies, which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Photographies - Collection Claude Berri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature morte, T289, 1994 von Jan Groover zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Groover mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life Studies beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04) versteigert wurde.
