Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Untitled I; Untitled II; and Untitled III by Jan Dibbets was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in February 2018. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,094.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Dibbets achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled I; Untitled II; and Untitled III von Jan Dibbets wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.094,67) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
