However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Bogaerts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A colourful summer bouquet, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 38,400.00.

Die Arbeit A still life with apples on a white Delft gadrooned charge von Jan Bogaerts wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Bogaerts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A colourful summer bouquet beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
