Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saxifrages by Jan Bogaerts was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2018. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Bogaerts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A colourful summer bouquet in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saxifrages von Jan Bogaerts kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Bogaerts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A colourful summer bouquet im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
