This artwork by Jan Bogaerts achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. In the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction, the work Mesmerized by the moon sold for EUR 5,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Bogaerts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A colourful summer bouquet in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Bogaerts erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) wurde die Arbeit Mesmerized by the moon für EUR 5.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Bogaerts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A colourful summer bouquet im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
