Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the Cover by Jammie Holmes was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Jammie Holmes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work First Birthday was auctioned for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,561.59).
