Auction result well in line with expectations
The work My Baby Birthday by Jammie Holmes was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 36,238.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jammie Holmes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work First Birthday in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,561.59).

Die Arbeit My Baby Birthday von Jammie Holmes wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 36.238,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jammie Holmes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit First Birthday im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 158.561,59).
