Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Photographer) by Jakub Julian Ziółkowski was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,566.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jakub Julian Ziółkowski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Olimp in December last year with an auction result of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 31,293.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Photographer) von Jakub Julian Ziółkowski wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.566,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jakub Julian Ziółkowski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Olimp im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.720,00 (€ 31.293,18).
