This artwork by Jake Berthot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2007. In the First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Green Pole Squared sold for USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,512.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. This high result makes Green Pole Squared the most expensive artwork by Jake Berthot that we have observed at auctions so far.
