Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study Of A Bishop And Two Clerics For "The Coronation Of Napoleon" by Jacques-Louis David was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 105,114.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques-Louis David achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Ramel De Nogaret in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 7,209,000.00 (€ 4,630,652.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study Of A Bishop And Two Clerics For "The Coronation Of Napoleon" von Jacques-Louis David wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Old Master & British Works on Paper bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
