Despite a disappointment, a good price for Jackie Nickerson
In September 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Paul by Jackie Nickerson for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,541.19). This price was achieved in the auction First Open at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Paul is the most expensive artwork by Jackie Nickerson that we have observed at auction so far.
