Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jackie Nickerson could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Paul, Tea Pruner, Malawi changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,916.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Jackie Nickerson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2013 by the work Paul at USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,541.19).
