Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cent Moulin by Jaap Egmond was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2002. The price achieved of EUR 1,673.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaap Egmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cent Moulin von Jaap Egmond wurde im Dezember 2002 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.673,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaap Egmond erzielen.
