In June 2020 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam, which included the work Prelude by Jaap Egmond. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,750.00 46% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jaap Egmond have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 17,500.00 in November 2018 for the work Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1).

Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit Prelude von Jaap Egmond zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.750,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jaap Egmond haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00 im November 2018 für die Arbeit Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) beobachtet.
