This work without title by Jaap Egmond was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 3,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Jaap Egmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jaap Egmond wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Egmond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
