Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jaap Egmond could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction, this work without title changed hands for EUR 2,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Egmond have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaap Egmond konnte im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 2.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Egmond auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toetsenspel 1 op 1 (Game of Keys 1 on 1) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.500,00.
