The work Red Ladder (Backstage) by Iván Navarro was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in May 2018. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,706.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Red Ladder (Backstage) von Iván Navarro wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.706,94) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
