Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Nude by Ivan Chuikov for GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,752.52). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Chuikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fake, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nude von Ivan Chuikov für GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.752,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67) versteigert wurde.
