Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Seven studies for 'Variants', 1978 by Ivan Chuikov for GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,971.41). This price was achieved in the auction The Russian Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ivan Chuikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fake in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seven studies for 'Variants', 1978 von Ivan Chuikov für GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.971,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Russian Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fake im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67).
