Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Road Accident by Ivan Chuikov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 45,087.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Chuikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fake in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).

Die Arbeit Road Accident von Ivan Chuikov kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 45.087,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fake im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67).
