Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Windows by Ivan Chuikov was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 105,204.10). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Chuikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fake, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Windows von Ivan Chuikov wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 105.204,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67) versteigert wurde.
