Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection, which included this untitled work by Ivan Chuikov. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 30,058.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Chuikov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fake in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ivan Chuikov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.200,00 (€ 30.058,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fake im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67).
