Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fragment No.6 by Ivan Chuikov was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 90,174.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ivan Chuikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fake, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 214,200.00 (€ 255,495.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fragment No.6 von Ivan Chuikov wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 90.174,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ivan Chuikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 214.200,00 (€ 255.495,67) versteigert wurde.
