Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fille De Thèbes (Girl From Thebes) by Inji Efflatoun was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2016. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,656.72). Admittedly, works by Inji Efflatoun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fille De Thèbes (Girl From Thebes) von Inji Efflatoun wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.656,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93).
