The work La Moisson (The Harvest) by Inji Efflatoun was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,901.95), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Inji Efflatoun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee), which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).

Die Arbeit La Moisson (The Harvest) von Inji Efflatoun wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.901,95) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93) versteigert wurde.
