Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village Scene by Inji Efflatoun was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 22,248.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Inji Efflatoun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee), which sold at auction in April 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village Scene von Inji Efflatoun kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 22.248,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Inji Efflatoun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Egyptian'Ahlam Almuetaqala (Dreams Of The Detainee) beobachtet, die im April 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93) versteigert wurde.
