Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Imran Qureshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2015. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work I Want You To Stay With Me sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 26,581.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Imran Qureshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Garden Within sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 49,805.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Imran Qureshi erzielte im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit I Want You To Stay With Me für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 26.581,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Imran Qureshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Garden Within im März 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 49.805,80).
