Auction result well in line with expectations

This work without title by Howard Mehring was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,730.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Howard Mehring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Solar in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,093.06).
