The work Early American by Howard Mehring was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. It achieved a price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 9,019.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Howard Mehring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Solar in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,093.06).

Die Arbeit Early American von Howard Mehring kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 9.019,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Howard Mehring auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Solar im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.093,06).
