The work Akebono Dawn by Hoshi Joichi was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,343.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hoshi Joichi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shuko (Autumn light), which sold at auction in September 2000 for USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,307.46).

Die Arbeit Akebono Dawn von Hoshi Joichi kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.343,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hoshi Joichi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shuko (Autumn light) beobachtet, die im September 2000 für USD 8.225,00 (€ 9.307,46) versteigert wurde.
