The work "Mutants"-C by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2007. It achieved a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,911.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playmates in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 737,701.19).

Die Arbeit "Mutants"-C von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo kam im September 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 7.911,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playmates im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 737.701,19).
