The work Unknown by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,643.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playmates in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 737,701.19).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.643,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playmates im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 737.701,19).
