In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Unknown by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,372.43), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playmates in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 737,701.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.372,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playmates im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 737.701,19).
