In April 2002 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES, which included the work Harvest festival by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 107,550.00 (€ 15,316.50), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hernando Ruiz Ocampo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playmates in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 6,040,000.00 (€ 737,701.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harvest festival von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 15.316,50) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hernando Ruiz Ocampo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playmates im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.040.000,00 (€ 737.701,19).
