The work Pine trees at the seaside by Herman Bieling was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. It achieved a price of EUR 2,031.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 69 %. Admittedly, works by Herman Bieling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Heads in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.

Die Arbeit Pine trees at the seaside von Herman Bieling kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.031,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Bieling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Heads im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
