Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A still life with cactusses by Herman Bieling. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,040.00. Admittedly, works by Herman Bieling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Heads in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with cactusses von Herman Bieling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Bieling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Heads im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
